Interview with Zohaib Khawar Musician

Zohaib Khawar born in october 1992, has been contributing to the music industry from his early childhood. Starting from keyboard at the age of 7, Zohaib Khawar has greatly enhanced his music and vocal skills and made quite some name by supporting and uplifting different Radio and TV channels through his recordings, commercials and jingles. He has also worked with some of the most renowned and acclaimed artists of industry. Zohaib Khawar also had a deep relation with so many radio stations and sung so many Radio commercials and Jingle songs for different local products.....Currently residing in Jhelum, he is working on his own Album and also pursuing his education.

Zohaib Khawar awarded as Best Singer of Jhelum in a Regional competition in year 2008. Achieved number of awards from different occasions held at Schools, Colleges, Universities as Singer and Musician.

Performed as a Guitarist and Vocalist with various artists of Industry like Shahbaz Khan, Qurat-ul-Ain Baloch, Bilal Saeed, Jawad Ahmed, Kamran Akhtar, Jarrar Rizvi, Qadir Ali Shaggun, etc. Also composed and arranged various Jingles for Radio & TeleVision.

Education :

Currently Doing Bs (Hons.) Computer Science from University of Gujrat, Pakistan

Achievements:

1. Got 4th position at PTV National Song Competition "Ae nigar-e-watan" out of 600 participants from all over pakistan

2. Got Best Performance Award from Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi

Musical Instruments Can Play:

Started learning basics from Keyboard at the age of 7 years, and then gradually started Guitars and now doing both.

Inspiration:

My father is great inspiration for me to enter into the music field. He is Music Graduate (Punjab University Lahore) in Sitar and Shagird(student) of Ustaad Nafees Ahmed Khan. So in this musical environment i got interest in this melodious field & learnt the Western Music Basics and its collaboration with our Eastern Music Scales...!

Problems in Achieving Career :

Competition in Overall Music Field has grown up rapidly by the Advent of Private Media Channels. Now-a-days song is not listened but watched.. Means most of the people who can invest in the videos can become a singer in this regard and can get promotion and fame through money. I think the the audience should listen good music and promote the music of those people who properly learnt it. I think this is the main problem which is spoiling the true upcoming talent !

With Whom have you worked with?

I am working as a Musician (Guitarist) with "Night Chords - The Band"

Working as a Music Arranger and Recordist at "Zohaib Recording Studios and Music Productions" Working as a Music Director with a NGO "Sehar Ministries"

Working as a Event Manager for Arranging Concerts and Events at "Sunrise FM 95"

Results of Achievements:

Well these days I'm performing with various bands and TV Channels as a Singer and Guitarist too, Meanwhile also arranging music albums for various artists.

How do you see the work nowadays in your field Easy or difficult ?

I think that the work in this Music field has come to difficult these days because now a days one have to promote himself on all channels and Media’s to make his identity. People have lots of options to see and listen, and they used to listen the music with heavy budgeted videos. I think this thing has made difficulty for most of the Artists of the Age.

Plans for the future in your field ?

Currently working at my album, which will soon release. Also planned to do some Fusion in Instrumental music like the collaboration of instruments like Sitar with Bass Guitar and Grand Piano..!

Interwiew with Amit Ranjan Srivastava Great Young Musician

My name is Amit Ranjan Srivastava. 21 years old. I belong to Ranchi (Jharkhand) India. I did my intermediate from St.Xavier's College Ranchi and now doing b.sc from the same college. I am a singer and musician.. And music is a part of my life and can’t live without it....

You have a great profession singing, how did you start ?

First of all i am very thank full to God who given me art of singing as a gift.. and then my parents who are also very interested in music and their support and my father is my first guru also... I started singing when i was 5 years old. And because we were in a very small village so there was not any musical institute. So i could not taken training of classical music. But according to my own practice i can sing well.

Beside singing do you play any musical instruments ?

I can play some instruments like- harmonium, naal, banjo and tabla.

What and who did really inspire you to get into field music ?

When i was in intermediate 1st year till then never thought to make singing as my profession. And i did not know about the singing reality shows which are going on very much now a days. Reason was: we had not any dish tv or cable connection. When i was in 2 nd year i started watching a reality show called Sare Gamapa on Zee tv ..so that reality shows actually inspired me...

What problems did you face to achieve your career?

Well i think i have not achieved my career yet but wherever i am now, i faced so many problems. I know that i will have to face so many problems ahead in achieving my career....

Who have you worked with?

I have worked with a band called “Symphony Musical” group Ranchi and a very well known band called “Rajasthan Roots” of Rajasthan as a singer and a group called “Aum the Existence on Stage” as music director in Mumbai.

What are results of your achievements?

Well god is been so kind to me..now a days i perform with various musical bands, in Gagarin Orchestras and many others as a singer and an instrument player too..

How do you see the work nowadays in your field Easy or difficult?

According to me its all depends on how much we labour....if we work harder it will be easy otherwise difficult....one more thing luck is also a factor behind it... if someone works harder and is not lucky then he can’t get success....

What are your plans for the future in your field?

In future if God blesses, i have have a dream to launch my own album and also to have my own band with a great success.......

Interwiew with Syed Ahmer Hussain Musician

Brief Introduction on Syed Ahmer Hussain

It is very rare that someone comes along with just the right amount of personality, the right amount of talent, the charisma, the style, the courage and most importantly the passion to excel at something.

Early Life:

On 28th September, 1992 Ahmer hussain was born in Islamabad, Pakistan. He soon moved back to Karachi (his hometown) and started his education. Throughout his school and college life, Ahmer was more enthusiastic about cricket than anything else. He aspired to be a cricketer some day and music was probably the last thing on his mind.

Professional Life

In class 8 Ahmer perform in Shaheen Public School in his class function that function for a school talent award that they got . Ahmer get's the guitar classes and a singing classes after few months he complete all the courses of singing and guitar Ahmer thought about Band which name will be Kanch. After few days Ahmer decided to change the name of band Kanch To Ahmer forum name ( Shahry's ). now Ahmer hussain is the composer, vocalist and lyricist.

now looking for onward of success.

Which musical instrument do you play?

I really like to play guitar. for composing , and jamming session.

What and who did really inspire you to get into field music?

Atif aslam.. i am inspired by his , style , singing, his professional life and really really like his concert performance style.

What problems did you face to achieve your career?

Yeah a lots of problems.. financial, no family support, no jamming room, hard to find well play guitarist, and it was hard to make their mind that what i want in music.

Who have you worked with?

Nabeel khalid as my rythem guitarist + composer., adil nadeem as my lead guitarist.

How do you see the work nowadays in your field Easy or difficult?

Yeah some time i feel its easy... but when i saw another bands they are launch their songs etc etc then its make some times difficult to make a lyrics , composing like that anyone haven't done like that.

What are your plans for the future in your field?

Me and my band are planing about recording.. we have done all 6 songs lyrics of 1st album.... and we are ready to do some gigs and events... after the recording we will do our album launch concert we will spread our CD's free in collages & school.
